Badminton is a racket game that can be played as singles or doubles game. A special racket and a "feather-like" game ball have been developed for badminton. The game can be played indoors and outdoors. Outside, windy weather can often make it difficult to hit a light ball. The playing field consists of two halves, divided by a net, as in tennis and padel. The basic idea of the game is to hit the ball over the net to the opponent's side so that the opponent does not get the returned ball before hitting the court.

Session descriptions
Basketball is played by two teams, each with five players. Each team tries to throw the ball into the opponent's basket and defend the other team making a basket. When playing the ball, you may only play with your hands. It can be passed, thrown, hit, or rolled.
Floorball is a game played indoors, which can roughly be compared to, for example, ice hockey or rink ball. Floorball is easy to start because you do not need much equipment. Good indoor shoes, a floorball stic and a ball are enough! Floorball is played in sports halls where there is enough space for 8-10 players on the field at a time. Traditionally, the game is played 5 vs 5, but there are many variations. A floorball is a ball with holes, and it moves quickly against the floor by passing with sticks. The goal of the teams is to get the ball into the opponent team`s goal. The rules of floorball are not too complicated, and everyone can learn them very quickly.
Futsal is an indoor form of football and is played on a smaller field. The name originally comes from the Spanish term Fútbol sala. The game is played between two teams, each with five players on the field. The small field means that the players have significantly less space than football, and thus the technique is emphasized more strongly than football. The futsal ball is slightly smaller than football, heavier and less elastic, which is why it bounces less. Futsal is an easy hobby to start, so you are welcome to join.
Ice hockey is a team game played on ice, in a hockey rink. In a normal situation, the team consists of six people (5 field players and a goalkeeper) and there are two teams playing against each other on the field/rink at the same time. The main point is moving the puck sliding along the ice to the opponent team's goal by using ice hockey sticks. The puck is rubbery and 2.54 centimeters thick, 7.62 centimeters in diameter, and weighs between 156 and 170 grams. Game time can be practically anything. The rules of series and organizations define the total times of both sets and games. Most often, the playing time is 60 minutes, which is divided into three 20-minute periods. At the end of the game, the winner is the team that has scored more goals.
In all uMove ADVANCED sessions must have full game equipment.
Padel is almost like mix of tennis and squash. The field is 10m x 20m and is surrounded by 3 meter high glass and metal mesh walls. Like a tennis court, it is divided into two parts by a net. Padel is always played with teams of two players. The best thing about padel is that it is really easy to start and learn. The game is perfect for players of all ages and levels, and it is an extremely social racket game. (Padel Club Finland)
uMove's Padel seissons are in Jyväskylä Padel Adder Keljo. All you must is get a group of friends together and try this fun and new sport in our ball games shift schedule.
Squash is a ball game that is played in a room. The playing field consists of the floor, walls and ceiling. Squash is usually played as a singles game, but sometimes also as douples game. The game equipment is a ball and a racket developed for the sport. The ball is hit alternately inside the room, trying to hit inside the boundaries marked on the walls and ceiling, and to get it into the quarter of the court. If the ball does not stay/hits within the boundaries, the opponent gets a point. You should familiarize yourself with the rules of squash in advance before going to your turn and take the friend who knows the rules. You can read more about squash as a sport and the rules here.
Table tennis is a racket game whose basic idea is very much the same as in tennis. The aim is to hit the ball into the opponent's half of the court so that the ball bounces off the table's surface and the opponent cannot hit it back as required by the rules. As the name suggests, the table is the game platform. The table is divided by a net into two halves of equal size. The ball is light and hollow and is hit with small clubs.
Volleyball is a two-team game where the field is divided by a net. Both teams have six players on the court. The goal of the teams is to pass the ball over the net and make the ball touch the opponent's court and defend the opponent doing the same. The team has three available three touches/hits to return the ball (in addition to the save) to the opposite side. The game starts by passing the ball over the net to the opponent's side. "Ball rally" from side to side continues until the ball touches the playing court/fiels, or it goes "out" or the team fails to return the ball according to the rules. In volleyball, the team that wins the ball rally gets a point and get shift to pass the next ball.
