Liikunta building

  • Opening Hours: During academic terms, Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 8:00 pm 
  • Services: Group fitness classes, ball game sessios, gym (for university students), courses, and classes.
  • Facilities: gym, palloilusali (PS), rytmiikkasali (RS), telinesali (TS), tennis courts, voimistelusali (VS)
  • Dressing rooms and showers: Gendered dressing rooms with showers. Gender-neutral changing rooms/shower facilities are also available. Sauna hours are Mon-Thu 3:00 pm–7:30 pm and Fri 3:00 pm–6:00 pm
  • Lockers: Lockers intended for daytime use, which are accessible free of charge with several different cards (including travel, benefit, and bank cards). Note: Please do not use a mobile phone or an official identification card issued by authorities. Instructions. 
  • Entrance: Entrance through the main door. Sports facilities are on the second floor. 
  • Information: Attendants desk can be found in the main lobby. Lost items can be inquired about from the attendants: +358294419062 
  • Description of the facility: The sports facilities of the University Liikunta Building are used for uMove group fitness, ball game, and courses. Depending on the session, the halls can accommodate approximately 40-80 participants. At the gym you can find the most common gym equipment as well as equipment suitable for aerobic training and warm-up. 
  • Equipment: Group fitness: Equipment available from the L149 equipment storage. Ball game: Balls can be found in the main lobby locker near the attendants' desk.
